APEROL SPRITZ

A spritz is an Italian wine-based cocktail, commonly served as an apéritif across Italy. It consists of Prosecco, digestive bitters and soda water. The original spritz veneziano uses Select as bitters and was created in Venice in 1920.

Ingredients: 1 1/4 oz Aperol, 2 oz Prosecco, Splash of Soda water

Served: On the rocks; poured over ice

Standard garnish: Orange Wedge

HUGO SPRITZ

The Hugo is an alcoholic aperitif, originating in South Tyrol, but widespread in Triveneto, Austria, Switzerland and Germany, based on prosecco, elderflower syrup, seltzer and mint leaves.

Ingredients: prosecco; elderflower or lemon balm syrup; seltzer or sparkling water

Served: On the rocks: poured over ice

Standard garnish: mint leaves

PALOMA COCKTAIL

The paloma is a tequila-based cocktail. This drink is most commonly prepared by mixing tequila, lime juice, and a grapefruit-flavored soda such as Fresca, Squirt, or Jarritos and served on the rocks with a lime wedge. Adding salt to the rim of the glass is also an option.

Ingredients: 0.17 oz fresh lime juice, 1.69 oz 100% agave tequila, 3.38 oz pink grapefruit soda, pinch of salt

MOSCOW MULE

A Moscow mule is a cocktail made with vodka, ginger beer and lime juice, garnished with a slice or wedge of lime, and a sprig of mint. The drink, being a type of buck, is sometimes called vodka buck. It is popularly served in a copper mug, which takes on the cold temperature of the liquid.

Ingredients: 1 1/2 oz Vodka, 1/6 oz Lime juice, 4 oz Ginger beer

Served: On the rocks; poured over ice.

cuban mojito

Cuban Mojito is a traditional Cuban punch. The cocktail often consists of five ingredients: white rum, sugar, lime juice, soda water, and mint. Its combination of sweetness, citrus, and herbaceous mint flavors is intended to complement the rum, and has made the mojito a popular summer drink.

Ingredients: 1 1/2 oz White rum, 1 oz Fresh lime juice, 2 teaspoons Sugar, 6 leaves of Mint, Soda Water

Standard garnish: Slice of lime, Sprigs of mint

GIN AND TONIC

A gin and tonic is a highball cocktail made with gin and tonic water poured over a large amount of ice. The ratio of gin to tonic varies according to taste, strength of the gin, other drink mixers being added, etc., with most recipes calling for a ratio between 1:1 and 1:3.

Ingredients: 1 part to 3 parts gin (to taste), 3 parts tonic water

Served: On the rocks; poured over ice

Standard garnish: A slice or wedge of lime
